No post. I'd ask you to forgive my relative silence, but that seems a bit arrogant. After all, how many of you knew I was gone? Basically, I have either had nothing to say, or no time to say it. Still, this one's kind of funny. The IRS, never known for its creativity, has at last found its muse. Apparently, it believes that a
tax created to pay for the Spanish-American War might apply to the Internet. You know, the Spanish-American War. The one in the 19th century. No. Really. This is going to hurt Al Gore's claims about inventing the Internet if people find out it was predicted almost one hundred years before. Especially if it was predicted in tax legislation. Crazy, man, crazy.
