Wal-mart vs. Microsoft? Is it just me or is it interesting that Wal-mart offers computers for sale running Linux. The latest one is a $500 laptop running Linspire at Wal-mart.com. The deep discounter clearly doesn't care whether it's selling Wintel boxes or something else, so long as they can advertise the lowest priced product. This could get interesting, given that Wal-mart generally has taken a very conservative approach to introducing technology to its customers.   ¶ 1:31 AM
